To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 19, the Party branches of Fuhuang Design and Fuhuang Technology jointly organized all Party members to visit the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall in Jingxian County, southern Anhui, and carried out a red education activity themed "Learning the Party's History, Comprehending Its Ideology, Addressing Practical Issues, and Forging New Paths". Yang Jiping, a member of the Party Committee of the Group, was invited to participate.
In the early morning, accompanied by a sudden downpour, the gray sky reflected our sorrowful and heavy mood. All Party members came to the Martyrs Cemetery of the Southern Anhui Incident to pay tribute to the martyrs. The Party members climbed up the sacred path step by step, passed through the majestic sacred gate and walked towards the main monument memorial square. The monument stands on the central axis of the memorial square and the sacred path. The black polished granite is inlaid with the inscription by Comrade Deng Xiaoping - "The martyrs who died in the Southern Anhui Incident are immortal forever". Below the monument is a garland carved from white marble, which embodies the deep sorrow of future generations for the fallen soldiers. On both sides of the main monument, there are seven units of memorial corridors arranged in a ring. The inner walls are inscribed with historical documents such as "The Song of the New Fourth Army", "The Inscription on the Monument to the Martyrs of the Southern Anhui Incident" and the protest inscription by Comrade Zhou Enlai, the representative of the Communist Party of China, which reads "An eternal injustice, a leaf falling in the south of the Yangtze River, fighting among brothers, why rush to fry each other". In front of the Tomb of the Unknown Martyrs, all Party members bowed three times to the revolutionary martyrs. Then, braving the wind and rain, everyone stood under the solemn monument. Facing the bright red Party flag, under the leadership of Chen Xiaowei, a member of the branch committee, the new Party members took the admission oath and the old Party members renewed their admission oath.
Then we visited the Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters. As a significant revolutionary site in China, it truly records the remarkable achievements made by the people's army under the leadership of the Communist Party of China during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. At that time, the headquarters of the New Fourth Army and the Southeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee were stationed in Yunling, Jingxian County. Senior proletarian revolutionaries such as Zhou Enlai, Chen Yi, Ye Ting, Xiang Ying, and Zeng Shan once directed the military and civilians in East China and Central China in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression here. In the exhibition hall of the former site, we saw the existing precious pictures, cultural relics, and materials, all of which made us marvel at the extraordinary hardships endured by the New Fourth Army back then. Looking at those rusted firearms and rough, simple daily necessities, we were deeply moved by the revolutionary spirit of the martyrs who overcame countless difficulties and persisted to the end. Each cultural relic touched the hearts of every one of us.
This red-themed journey has enabled all participants to receive the baptism of the red revolution. They have expressed that they will definitely cultivate their moral character and behave cautiously, conduct self-reflection regularly, fulfill their duties with dedication, serve the country, prioritize collective honor over personal gains and losses. They will also learn from the revolutionary ancestors their firm ideals and convictions, as well as their revolutionary spirit of diligence, frugality and tenacious perseverance, so as to contribute their own strength to the cause of communism and the development of Fuhuang Group.
